building or faith project ???? june23'06

June 23: church building project is always a heated discussion - a small, medium and mega church or just some refurbished project - no right or wrong. a $12m building does not mean more faith than a $6m project but what is impt is how the lord lead each church in its own journey. i support the bcc project since the leadership felt led and convicted by Him on this path. it is a journey of faith and will strengthen the church (members) as we look to Him to provide funds among other miracles...pray that we will not be distracted with the physical building or fund raising that we forget the journey is with Him and see Him at work around us!!! Praise the Lord with expectant hearts! i rather have 50 pple who are fully committed to this than 100 pple who are half hearted....we need to be one heart committed towards His purposes for us all!!!!

stressful week

June 27: today is the second time this week that I am working 15 hrs in a row and the next day is the same too.
budget time, office move, mgt meeting and new "boss" onboard, adjusting to one staff less seems very very plateful than desired. adjustments and more adjustments. sometimes wondering what the lord is teaching me thru this period. feeling v low and frustrated and wonder when will see the light. God help me to see your Soverignity beyond all these depressing circumstances. Really need prayer to sustain next week as I leave for a short trip to PRC on monday and with many datelines due.

am glad i went to last night prayer meeting n was reminded of Isa 41:10 - so do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for i am yr god. i will strengthen you and help you ; i will uphold you with my righteous right hand!
